is sewn onto the print, housing within them a flat stone gathered by myself.

About the Artist

Currently my art is a combination of printmaking, sculpture and mixed media. The hands-on process of these mediums allow me to create precious 3D objects and forms to which I transfer a part of myself. Each piece houses a story and exists as a result of my exporting feelings into form. The use of symbols and suggestive shapes are utilized for their ability to keep secrets while telling a story. As a diary is a device used in healing, venting, and reflecting, my art becomes a method of recording as well. Each piece is layered with emotions, imagery and objects felt and collected at the time of creation.
